We are hiring Peer Mentors!

The Student Transition and Support department is hiring Peer Mentors for the upcoming Fall 2024 term. Interested students should be:

• Sophomore, Junior, or Senior student status. 
• Minimum GPA of 2.5
• Available to work during at least one of these class times: MWF 9am-10am, 10am-11am, 11am-12pm, 1pm-2pm, 2pm-3pm
• Available to attend a meeting M 4:00-5:00pm during the Fall semester on-campus.
• Able to work 15 hours per week
• In good standing with the University
• Pass a criminal background check

Peer mentors:

• Work alongside our instructors in CID 1300 with first-time freshman students
• Meet with students one on one
• Work to connect students with resources and activities
• Help students develop skills to transition into becoming a college student
