Hello TLS!
I was made aware of an opportunity and wanted to pass it along to you as I know some of you would be interested. The Executive in Residence (EIR) Program is an opportunity for ETAMU students to connect directly with industry leaders who bring real-world insights, mentorship and professional guidance. They offer small-group sessions and one on one mentoring so that students can gain practical advice on career readiness, project development and networking. I've attached the flyer sent to me by the program, and encourage any of you with specific questions to reach out to Dr. Laura Isbell on the flyer.
Participating in this experience would absolutely fulfil the following pillar requirements, depending on how much you engage with the program:
- Attend a networking event
- Work with a mentor
The program does take place at the Dallas Campus, but it looks like they have a variety of ways to participate. If you're interested, I'd reach out to Dr. Isbell and see if you can get an idea of how much travel would be involved for you before registering. Participation in this is not required for TLS, I am just passing along an opportunity you may be interested in.
