About Us
Zeta Phi Beta was founded on the principles of Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood and the precepts that elitism and socializing had overshadowed the real mission of sororities-to address and correct the problems of society, particularly, those plaguing the African-American community.
The "AMAZING" Alpha Epsilon Chapter was chartered on the campus of then East Texas State University on February 10, 1973 by twelve dynamic women who would become known as the "12 Phases of Togetherness". Since its foundation on the campus, more than 300 women have become members through the chapter continuing the legacy of the Five Founders of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated.
