About Us

The mission of the Black Student Union is to foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for Black students at East Texas A&M University. BSU advocates for the well-being, success, and representation of Black students and student organizations across campus.

The purpose of the Black Student Union is to bring together Black students, faculty, and student organizations at East Texas A&M University to build community and foster connection. BSU provides educational and leadership opportunities while raising awareness of issues and experiences that impact Black communities today.
