The East Texas A&M University SNATS Chapter strives to connect students to real world experiences in the art of singing and voice teaching through collaboration and live performance, giving each vocalist (in education or performance) a broader horizon to explore and set up a career.

SNATS chapters may apply for SNATS Grants. SNATS chapter members receive a reduced $40 student rate on a one-year subscription to Journal of Singing. This scholarly journal contains articles on all aspects of singing, voice science, voice pedagogy, literature, and diction. Although SNATS Chapter members are not required to be members of NATS, the association offer a Pre-Professional membership category. Students can become members of NATS and partake in many of the benefits that their teachers enjoy. The chapter will create a SNATS Professional Network to use for:

1. Get assistance in settling down – In addition to adjusting to a new lifestyle, Indian students must go through many paperwork and related processes when transferring to a university abroad. In some cases, students may need help filling out forms and understanding complex rules and regulations of an academic institution. Being a member of the Indian Student Association helps a student as fellow students who have already studied at this academic institution can help that student. may also need assistance. The Indian Students Association assists students in finding accommodation in areas that suit their budget and meeting their dietary and other requirements.

2. Means to socialize – For Indians, their identity in India is determined by caste, language, religion, or region. But when you go abroad, that difference disappears because Indian students look at themselves and Indians first and everything else later. Indian Student Association at East Texas A&M University, give students a sense of community. Brings Indian students from different castes, languages and geographical backgrounds come together to celebrate festivals and community programs. This helps foster a sense of camaraderie among students.

3. Brings out the leader in you – Being a member of a student body also helps emphasize student leadership. As a member, students may be required to organize and participate in cultural and academic events. Activities like this require students to demonstrate leadership skills as they require others to do what they want them to do. Sometimes students are given special tasks such as: Organize outreach her programs for communities living near campus. High-performing students can run for student association elections and become president or secretary. It also helps students actively participate in election campaigns in a democratic system.

The TLS program was founded in 2022 by 18 member institutions as a state-wide, leadership program, aimed at guiding Texas high school graduates to develop their leadership skills and continue their education at a public Texas university. This page is for students accepted to the program who attend East Texas A&M University.

Through the process of assessing students at Texas A&M University-Commerce, we have realized that a big issue for our student community is food insecurity. In response to this concern, The Office of Student Advocacy & Support, with the help of campus partners, has established The Lion food Pantry at Texas A&M University-Commerce. The Lion Food Pantry is solely based on donations. We hope with the support of the community, local businesses, campus partners, and students, we will be able to help fight food insecurity on our campus. Our hope that no student has to suffer or have their success limited by food insecurity. Please join us in our fight against student food insecurity on our campus.

The Lion Food Pantry strives to help create a positive campus environment in which students can thrive in their pursuit of higher education.

The National Society of Black Women in Medicine is a multi-disciplined organization that works to increase the recruitment and retention of Black women pursuing broad careers in medicine, while simultaneously promoting the advancement of those already established in these fields.

SPS is a chapter based society that exists to help students transform themselves into contributing members of the professional community. Traditional coursework develops only one range of skills. Other skills needed to flourish professionally include effective communication and personal interactions, leadership experience, establishing a personal network of contacts, presenting scholarly work in professional meetings and journals, research experiences, and outreach services to the campus and local communities. Through its members, advisers, chapters, and leadership, SPS enables national initiatives and local impacts within the community. SPS supports students, advisers, and departments to improve the overall community.

SPS wants to support every undergraduate student with an interest in physics and astronomy excel. SPS seeks to assist every undergraduate department help students succeed. Locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally, the SPS offers the opportunity for these important enrichments to the student's experience.
